Elliott Hord's goal against Tulsa Roughnecks FC on Sept. 19 has been named the Goal of the Season. The goal, shot from just right of the top of the 18-yard box, was voted as the top goal of 2018 through an online poll, with the goal receiving 41 percent of the votes.
Hayden Partain's goal from the same match took second place, and Villyan Bijev's goal in the Round of 16 of the U.S. Open Cup against LAFC came in third.
The goal against the Roughnecks was Hord's first and only USL goal of the season, and second across all competitions. The 27-year-old defender's first goal of the season came against LAFC, when Hord pounced on a rebound to open the scoreline at Banc of California Stadium in the U.S. Open Cup.
Voting for the USL Save of the Season is still open. See all the saves and vote here.
